Oil & filter change
We use oil that meets your engine’s specification — conventional, blend or full synthetic as the manufacturer calls for — and a quality filter. While the oil drains we check the belts, hoses, fluids, tires and anything that is dripping, and tell you what we saw. Done in the driveway, at work or at the yard.

Tune-up
A rough idle, hesitation or worse fuel mileage often comes down to worn plugs or a tired coil. We replace spark plugs, coils and plug wires where fitted, the engine air filter and the cabin filter, and read the vehicle’s codes to make sure the tune-up actually fixes what you are feeling.

Fluid services
Fluids wear out quietly. Coolant loses its corrosion protection, brake fluid soaks up water, transmission fluid breaks down and shifts get lazy. We drain and refill or exchange coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid and transmission fluid on most vehicles, using the type the manufacturer specifies.

Pre-purchase inspection
Buying a used car or truck from a private seller or a small lot? We come to where the vehicle is, scan it for codes, check the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, tires, frame and fluids, and give you a plain-English rundown of what it needs now, what it will need soon and what to negotiate on.

A/C check & repair
An A/C system that blows warm has usually lost refrigerant somewhere. We check the system pressures, look for the leak, and repair what is leaking before recharging — topping off a leaking system just means paying for it twice. Compressor, condenser and line work is quoted after we have seen it.

Scheduled maintenance
Every manufacturer publishes a service schedule, and following it is the cheapest way to keep a vehicle out of trouble. We do the mileage services — filters, fluids, plugs, belts, inspections — on your schedule and in your driveway, and note what was done so you have the record if you ever sell it.
