What is a mobile mechanic?
A mechanic who brings the tools to the vehicle instead of the other way around. Boothes Mobile Mechanics is based in Garnett, Kansas, and does repairs, maintenance and diagnostics in your driveway, at your workplace or on a job site — no tow, no shop visit.
Where can you work on my vehicle?
Anywhere it can sit safely on reasonably level ground: a driveway, a parking lot, a farmyard, the shoulder of a quiet road. Gravel is fine. A steep slope or a busy highway shoulder is not, and we will tell you if a spot will not work.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Garnett and cover Anderson County and the surrounding counties — Ottawa, Iola, Paola, Osawatomie, Burlington and the towns in between. Not sure if you are in range? Call. If it is within about 40 miles of Garnett, we can usually make it work.
What does it cost?
It depends on the job and the parts, so we quote it before we start — including any travel. You will never find out the price from the invoice. If we find something else while we are in there, we stop and ask before doing more.

Do you bring the parts?
Yes. We source parts for the job and bring them with us, so most repairs are done in a single visit. If you already have parts, mention it when you book — we will tell you whether we can use them.
What if the repair cannot be done on site?
Some jobs need a lift or a press, and we say so up front rather than fight it in your driveway. We will tell you what we found, what it needs and where to take it, so the next step is clear.
